App information

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

During onboarding, you may provide your name. No email, password, or traditional account is required to use the App.

1.2 Onboarding Survey Data

During setup, you answer questions about your habits, triggers, faith impact, and personal goals. These responses are stored locally on your device and used solely to personalize your experience (for example, challenge level scoring and goal tracking).

1.3 Recovery and Progress Data

As you use the App, we store data you voluntarily log related to your recovery journey. This includes streak information (start dates, lengths), urge resistance counts, slip counts, and level progress (Bronze through Liberated). This data may include sensitive personal information about your habits and behavioral health. It is stored locally on your device and used solely to provide the App’s core tracking features.

1.4 Journal Entries

If you use the private journal feature, your entries (including text and mood tags) are stored locally on your device. Journal entries are never uploaded to our servers.

However, if you choose to use the Sheikh AI Chat feature, you may opt to share journal context with the AI to personalize responses — in which case that context is transmitted to our AI provider (see Section 4).

1.5 AI Chat Data

When you use the Sheikh AI Chat feature, your messages are sent to our backend server and forwarded to OpenAI for processing. Chat messages are used solely to generate responses and are not permanently stored on our servers. OpenAI’s data retention and usage policies apply to data processed through their API (see Section 4).

1.6 Subscription Data

If you subscribe to the App, your purchase and subscription information is managed by RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. This may include a customer identifier, entitlement status, and purchase history. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details.
